This past Sunday Pastor John Murphy finishes our Advent Series in the Book of Ruth. We continue following the story of Ruth where she is an outsider as a Moabite. God takes Ruth and makes her an insider to the people of Israel. Our passage reveals to us that just like Ruth, he also welcomes us into his family. We were all once gentiles, but now we have been united with Jesus. We were far from God, but the message of Christmas is hope for us through the blood of Christ.
